Terms of Service
Last updated: June 14, 2026
1. Huxley is a record-keeping tool, not a medical service
Huxley helps you organize and store your pet's health information. It is not a veterinary service, a clinical tool, or a substitute for professional veterinary advice. Nothing in Huxley — including AI-parsed records, timeline entries, or any other content — constitutes veterinary or medical advice.
Always consult a licensed veterinarian for guidance about your pet's health, diagnoses, treatments, and medications. Do not delay or forego veterinary care based on anything you read in Huxley.
2. Records are user-entered and unverified
All records in Huxley are entered, uploaded, or confirmed by you or people you invite. Huxley does not independently verify, validate, or certify any health information stored in the app. AI-assisted parsing of uploaded documents may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations — you are responsible for reviewing and correcting all parsed data before relying on it.
Huxley makes no representation that any record, date, dosage, diagnosis, or other information stored in the app is accurate, complete, or current.
3. No liability for medical decisions
Huxley and its owner are not liable for any harm, injury, illness, or adverse outcome to your pet or to any person that results from decisions made in reliance on information stored in or generated by the app. This includes decisions made by you, your veterinarian, a boarding facility, or any other party who views your pet's records through Huxley.
You assume full responsibility for the accuracy of records you enter and for any decisions made based on those records.
4. No guarantee of data accuracy or availability
Huxley is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. You are encouraged to maintain your own copies of important veterinary documents outside of Huxley.
We will make reasonable efforts to protect your data and keep the service available, but we cannot guarantee continuous uptime or that no data loss will ever occur.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use Huxley only for its intended purpose — organizing your own pets' health records. You may not use the service to store information about animals in your care as a commercial veterinary practice, to circumvent security controls, or in any way that violates applicable law.
6. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Huxley after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
